Ron and Scott's Hunting Adventure's
3 days at River View Ranch in Ada, Ok.
5 hogs and 1 Sika!
A beautiful Red Stag came in on the first morning to 40 yards.
Lots of hogs! This group of 22 came by at 60 yards. The woods were too open, and there were too many eyes to try and get closer.
My Trophy Wild Boar with awesome cutters. The new Rage Broadhead did an incredible job.
Two pure white Fallow does, came under the stand.
This Fallow buck had his lucky day, I was looking for more hogs and passed on him. Back at camp the guides said that they are great table fare.
Ron's 4x4 Sika. A Sika is a Japanese deer that is crossed with an elk. A 4x4 is considered a Trophy Sika. The Rage Broadhead put him down in 60 yards.
A pretty Moufflon Ram.
A Trophy Catalina Goat!
Spot and Stalk!
Last morning (leaving at noon) and the wind was swirling, so we put away the bows for one last try with the 300 Wby. This is a nice meat hog (a good eating hog).
Ron made his shot of a life time on this meat hog. The hog was running at 150 yard, when he squeezed off a round from the 300! Several seconds later the hog started to swerve and then fell over at 200 yards.
Two nice meat hogs. Shot 15 minutes apart.
Whack em & Stack em!!
Thanks for viewing our hunt.
We are now planning a return trip to Africa with Ken Moody!
