I am a full time Detective for the Town of Pagosa Springs, and the towns only K-9
officer. Bonnie Boyett was gifted to the Pagosa Springs Police Department in 2007 by the
Kody Snodgrass Memorial Foundation. A Police Tracking K9, Bonnie is a bloodhound who
is trained to follow human scent trails. She helps the Police Department find lost people and
suspects who run from officers or leave the scene of a crime. Bonnie has also assisted in
wilderness area search and rescue operations.
Bonnie and I train continuously so we will be ready to help when needed.
I am a part time fly fishing guide for High Country Fishing Charters. I really
enjoy teaching new anglers the art of fly fishing, and as you can see, I love to
catch big fish on a fly rod!
